I am about to enter my senior year in high school I will probably end up with a cumulative GPA of 2.8- 2.9 at the end of this year.My first two years of high school were pretty bad and I now have a 2.52 cumulative GPA after getting a 3.5 both semesters. I scored a 1980 on the SAT Reasoning 730 Crit. Reading, 590 math, and 660 Writing and am considering taking it again , mainly to improve my math score This will be my second year as a member of the Junior Statesmen of America, and I plan on joining the Eco club at my school. I have 400+ plus hours of volunteer service working as a junior camp counselor at El Dorado Park in Long Beach, CA I am active at my Church and I donate blood, so I hope that will help I live in Southern California and was considering applying for Azusa Pacific, UC Santa Cruz, Pace University, Howard University, UC Riverside, and Pepperdine University( where both my parents are alumni, but is very expensive) among other schools I know my GPA is going to be a major stumbling block when trying to get admitted to a good school, but I'd like to show the improvements I've made in the last year, as well as highlight my other strengths.
