It is somewhat unusual to see much daylight action on the BNSF in Azusa, so this was an unexpected treat. Saturday, June 20, 2009, about 4:30 PM, taken from the south side of Foothill Bl, looking east as the eastbound train crosses the bridge over Foothill Bl. As an aside, it will be interesting to see if or how this bridge is reused when the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension is built. The BNSF is supposed to remain in place to serve the Miller Brewery in Irwindale to the west, so an entirely new, two-track structure may be needed here for the Gold Line.
